Day 3 Killarney - Dingle
Day 3 We will travel from Killarney to Dingle along the Wild Atlantic Way which includes a stop (weather permitting) at Inch Strand. Today the course changes emphasis to shooting and mastering video.

We will depart Killarney at 8:30am. Our route takes us north and west to the Dingle peninsula. Weather permitting, on the way we will stop at the spectacular Inch Strand for a break and to stretch our legs then onwards to Dingle.
Dingle is a beautiful fishing town on the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way. It's famous for its creative, artistic and musical communities and of course "Funghi" the local dolphin.
Our plan is to meet local award winning journalist and historian Sean Mac An tSithigh who has an incredible knowledge of the area. With Sean we will explore the fundamentals of "Story". Sean is a gifted visual storyteller and he will share examples of his work, his shooting style and how he approaches a project. All going to plan, after some practical shooting exercises we will draw a lottery of simple - one-person stories with local artists and crafts people and you will be divided into teams of two and given two hours to collaboratively shoot a story about your subject. The subjects are local artists, potters, weavers, jewellers and craftspeople. You will travel to their studio, shoot sequences of them at work and conduct interviews with them. All the content you shoot, which will be reviewed by the trainers later, will be used for the editing workshop tomorrow.
Once the practical exercise is over for the day we will have dinner and then retreat to O'Sullivan's Courthouse Pub for a music session and some craic and pints into the night.
